Please Note: The following pertains to cards on my website. When ordering via the Carlson Craft or Nu-Art links, please read their policies, as they may be different. How long will it take after I place my order? You will receive a personal email or fax confirmation the same business day that you place your order. A proof will be emailed or faxed to you within 3-5 business days for your review. Your approval is required before printing can begin, so please check your email or fax so that your order is not delayed. Once your approval is received, I will print and ship your order within 3-5 business days. Shipping time will vary depending on the method you choose. Catalog Requests Due to the number of cards that I carry, I am unfortunately not able to offer a mail-order catalog. Samples I'm happy to send you samples of any cards that you see on my web site. Your first sample request is free and $2.00 for each sample thereafter. Due to the number of cards on my site, I do not always have stock on hand for all cards. In those cases, I can get you a sample of another card in the same style or get a sample from the manufacturer. Color Variation The color of cards, ink, ribbon and vellum is represented as accurately as possible. Slight differences in color may occur due to the type and resolution of monitor used. Can I get my envelopes in advance? Sure, just let me know that you require your envelopes early on the order form. ($10.00 charge) I recommend this for birth announcements, however, there may be other occasions where you need your envelopes at an earlier date. How many lines of text can I have printed? I can fit most amounts of text on the cards, however, the more verbiage that you would like printed, the smaller the font will have to be. I will let you know immediately if I feel that there will be a problem with your order. Do I have to use the wording shown on your samples? No, the verses on my cards are just samples. You may use any wording that you would like. If you need help with a verse, I provide suggested wording and a link is provided to www.verseit.com which can give you additional suggestions. My Carlson Craft and Nu-Art order links also have suggested wording. Do you print in languages other than English? Yes, I can print the text in most languages, provided they use the same characters as English. I will need you to send me the text in the exact format that it should be on the card. What types of photographs do you accept for Photo Cards? You can send a developed photo up to an 8x10 size, a negative or a digital image. Your digital image should be roughly a 4x5 or 5x7 @ 300 dpi and saved as a jpg file. Please do not crop or color correct your images before you send them. If you would like me to come in closer on the photograph or touch up blemishes or red-eye, please specify your instructions on the order form. All images should be sharp, with good lighting and can be in color or black and white. Light colors and backgrounds work best. Your original negative or picture will be returned to you with your order. Can I use a Professional photo? All professional photographs are copyrighted. If you submit a photograph taken by a professional photographer, I will require a letter of permission from the photographer, allowing me to reproduce the photo. Special Requests I can order special request items that are not shown on my web site. Please contact me if you're looking for a specific card or wedding accessory. Out of Stock Items If an item is out of stock at the manufacturer, I will notify you as soon as possible so that you can choose an alternative. Payment Full payment is required when you place your order. Payment options include Visa, Mastercard or Paypal. Rushes With my Rush service you will receive a proof within 2 days and your order will be printed and shipped within 3 days from the time I receive your approval on the proof. Add 50% to the price of your card order. Rush orders may not always be possible due to availability of the card stock and my workload. Please contact me if you require a rush order. Can I make changes? Yes, you can send changes until you approve the order for printing. If you make changes to a proof, a second proof will be sent for your approval, which may delay the order. Order Cancellation Yes, as long as printing has not begun on the order. Can I order more cards? Yes, I will keep you card layout on file for up to a year. However reorders are priced the same as a new order. Returns I do my best to make sure each item is shipped exactly as it is ordered. Please contact me as soon as possible if you have a concern with your order. If I made a mistake from the information you provided, I will reprint your order and ship it as soon as possible. If the order was printed per the approved proof and contains an error, the order may be reprinted at a 20% discount. Shipping Information Orders are shipped via Priority or Express Mail. I recommend that you order your cards at least 3 weeks before you need to mail them. This allows time for any unforeseen shipping delays, which I cannot be responsible for. Additional shipping may be requested for large card orders. Priority Mail: 2-3 days $10.00 Express Mail: Next Day $23.00 Will my cards require extra postage? Square designs require extra postage.
